The "Pebble Steel" Smart Watch

Pebble Steel

Wearable Tech seems to be all the rage at the moment. From clever little app based pedometers which integrate with smart phone and/or web apps to tell you how many steps you have taken each week vs how many you should take. To the über geeky, and kind of impractical in my opinion, Google Glass. There seems to be more and more wearable gadets being released all the time.

Of all of these new gadgets, one which I keep hearing good reviews about is the Pebble Smart watch, pictured above. The Pebble smart watch has a series of apps on the app store that allow it to sync with your Smart phone so tat you can read text messages on your wrist, without having to fish your phone out of a pocket, (or if you are anything like me, fish it out from down the side of the couch). It means you'll never miss a call or text again, which I suppose you could argue is not a good thing, but might actually be a very handy & subtle way of screening calls in case something urgent come up while you are at a meeting.

Anyway I'm going to try out the pebble as I am terrible for leaving my phone on silent at the other end of the house by accident! I'll report back to let you know how I'm getting on with it!
