Online Trading Vouchers

The Government has recognised that businesses need to either get on-line or for those that are already on-line, that they need to invest in their websites. There has also been a forward step in their shift in thinking that every business needs a digital marketing strategy in order to help get themselves found. I have been saying the same thing to clients for years now.

To help businesses get on-line and to succeed on-line the National Digital Strategy have introduced, through the Local Enterprise Offices, "Online Trading Vouchers" for businesses in Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Louth, Sligo and Waterford. I believe the scheme might be available elsewhere nationwide as well. The aim of the scheme is to get 2,000 more businesses trading on-line by the end of 2015.

The vouchers are available to spend in the following fields:

Website Development:

Back in 2003 when I started making websites I had to sell the idea of being on-line to prospective clients but really in this day and age no one needs to be told they need to have a website. The Online Trading Vouchers can be used by new and established companies alike to help them develop a website. See our Web Design Pages for more information on about our web design services.

Upgrade Your Website:

A lot of companies who are on-line have old, static, neglected and dull websites which haven't had any effort or investment put into them since they were built. It was fine to build a static website 10 years ago but websites have changed an awful lot since then.

A website left sitting on a server without any effort, attention or investment, is very unlikely to be doing anything for the business that it is representing. You can use these Online Trading Vouchers for redevelopment & upgrades of outdated websites. See our Ongoing Web Packages for more information on keeping your website up to date and to develop an ongoing web strategy.

You should NOT leave your social media marketing in the hands of a 17 year old part time office temp. She might know more about Facebook then you do but that does not mean that she knows anything about Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing Strategy:

Using your website and your social media correctly (with an integrated digital strategy) is vital in order to get the most from your on-line presence. Whereas in 2003 I used to have to convince people that the internet was not just a fad, these days i spend my time convincing people that posting updates on Facebook once a month is NOT a digital marketing strategy. You should NOT leave your social media marketing in the hands of a 17 year old part time office temp. She might know more about Facebook then you do but that does not mean that she knows anything about Digital Marketing or how to project your company to prospective clients on-line. Badly executed or DIY social media campaigns are the single biggest mistake that we see companies make today.

We recently took over the management of a company's social media page and grew the traffic from their Facebook page to their website by more then 3,000%. See our Digital Marketing Packages for information on how to correctly promote your business on-line.

How To Apply?
