Blog Using Drupal

Your blog should be the centre of your digital marketing strategy. I read a startling statistic today that should get you blogging again if you have let the blog slide recently.

Companies that blog at least 20 times per month generate five times more traffic then companies who blog only a few times each month! Yes, That is FIVE times more traffic!

It is really important that you understand that posting all your news on Facebook will NOT get you this boost in traffic, while Facebook is a vital cog in your digital marketing strategy it should not replace your blog which should be the hub of all your social media efforts.

Google will now index your pots on Facebook, meaning that as soon as a post gets pushed won off your timeline in Facebook, it is gone forever. Unless someone scrolls down through your timeline - this does not happen except in exceptionally rare circumstances.

However every since blog post that you add to your website, is indexed and remembered in Google FOREVER, meaning that EVERY SINGLE BLOG POST will generate you a certain amount of traffic.
